The Boeing Company’s Argon ST group located in Fairfax, VA is currently seeking an Experienced Embedded Software Engineer who can leverage hardware with limited size, weight and power to implement complex and dynamic processing capabilities with a focus on performance, efficiency, responsiveness, and throughput. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.

We’re looking for an engineer who brings fresh ideas to solve our customers’ most complex problems. An ideal candidate is one who creates new capabilities alongside existing capabilities and maximizes their efficiency by aligning software design with system architecture.

In this position, you will design, prototype, develop, and deliver embedded software for Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) products for the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and allied customers.  You will work on the core processing infrastructure of our products to help balance open architectures with efficient processing and program execution. You will create software for both servers and single board computers. You will contribute to collaborative, cross-functional teams of engineers performing software development, firmware development, hardware design, system integration, system engineering, and user testing.

Our products intercept Radio Frequency (RF) signals, apply signal processing algorithms, distribute the processed results, and display them to operators. They are deployed to manned aircraft, unmanned aircraft, ships, submarines, and ground mobile platforms. Your work will ensure that signal data is detected, processed, routed, analyzed, reported, and stored both correctly and efficiently and that all appropriate resulting actions are executed.
